Cerebras is hiring a performance engineer to characterize and optimize state-of-the-art AI models running on its wafer-scale hardware. The work spans kernel microcode and compiler algorithms, kernel-level and end-to-end performance models, cluster runtime debugging, and tooling that visualizes data from the WSE. Candidates need a degree in electrical engineering or computer science, a computer architecture background, familiarity with low-level deep learning math, C++ and Python, and at least three years in computer architecture, CPU/GPU performance, kernel optimization or HPC. The role is hybrid, based in Sunnyvale or Toronto.
