Amazon's AI/ML UltraServer platform team is hiring a hardware development engineer in Seattle to design the GPU-accelerated servers that run AI training and inference. The role covers server architecture and component specifications, validation from PCBA bring-up through rack integration, debugging PCIe, power, memory and accelerator interconnect failures, and owning fleet failure-rate metrics after launch. It requires a bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering, server thermal, mechanical, power and signal-integrity experience, and two or more years in hardware design and validation. Preferred: ODM experience, GPU bring-up, PCIe/NVMe familiarity.
