Abridge is hiring Clinician Scientists to help build and refine its AI clinical documentation tools. The role pairs clinical practice with AI work: writing prompts, defining acceptable error rates and failure modes, building evaluation tools for hallucination and omission detection, and setting clinical guardrail metrics. Applicants need an MD, DO or PA degree with direct clinical practice, knowledge of FHIR, HL7 and HIPAA, and experience evaluating AI-generated notes; Python and deep learning frameworks are a plus. The San Francisco office expects at least three days a week.
