PhysicsX is hiring a CFD engineer for its Delivery team in New York, working two to three days a week in the central office. The work is high-fidelity simulation: geometry clean-up, meshing, solving and post-processing, plus parametric CAD (NX or CATIA) and pipeline automation for design optimisation, using Star-CCM+, OpenFOAM or Fluent with some Python or Java. Simulation datasets feed machine-learning surrogates, the New York team is being built from the ground up, and occasional travel to Europe, Asia and Oceania supports customer engagements.
