The role guides the shift from manual to automated, data-driven testing, leads in-territory vehicle-level test operations with vendor teams, and runs early smoke test campaigns for software releases before integration. It requires professional Japanese fluency (N1), hands-on vehicle testing experience, and leadership of vendor teams. Travel may reach 50% of the time. The base salary range is $196,000 to $242,000.
