Amazon Robotics' Global Operations – Artificial Intelligence team hires an Associate for ML data operations in Kolkata. The role is non-technical: annotating image, video and text data — object detection, semantic segmentation, object tracking, open-text evaluation — that trains and validates models for fulfillment robotics. The posting asks for a bachelor's degree, attention to detail, judgement on ambiguous cases, and willingness to learn annotation tools. Distinctive: a one-week training programme, rotational 24x7 shifts, and contract status that may become full-time.
