Waymo's Compute Team is hiring an ASIC design verification engineer to verify high-performance custom silicon for the autonomous driving software stack, reporting to a Silicon Engineering Lead. The work covers verification plans, UVM/SystemVerilog testbenches, reference models, stimulus, third-party VIP integration, functional and code coverage closure, and verification methodology. The posting asks for 3+ years of UVM/SystemVerilog experience, constrained-random and SVA skills, Python automation, and RTL debug. Preferred: post-silicon bring-up, UPF or formal verification, ML accelerators, PCIe Gen 5/6, DDR5, and LLM-assisted verification tooling.
