Amazon is hiring an Applied Scientist for its central Responsible AI team, on-site in Seattle. The scientist will study responsible-AI issues, help set strategies, priorities and metrics, and tackle open problems across traditional, generative and agentic AI. Duties include publishing where appropriate, helping develop the team, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Basic qualifications include a PhD, or a master's plus four years' experience, programming in Java, C++, Python or similar, and machine learning, reinforcement learning, deep learning, computer vision or NLP. A responsible-AI publication record is preferred.
