Amazon's AGI team is hiring an Applied Scientist to work on data quality and automated evaluation for the Nova models. The role covers auditing frameworks, sampling methods, SOPs and quality metrics, plus manual audits and meta-audits of auditor performance. A central task is building LLM-as-a-Judge systems: judge architectures, evaluation rubrics and machine learning models for automated assessment. The scientist works with engineers, domain experts and vendor teams. Candidates need a master's in a quantitative field, programming in Python, Java or C++, and SQL with a relational database.
