OpenAI's Applied AI Engineering team is hiring a cybersecurity-focused applied AI engineer in Dublin, hybrid, to help customers deploy OpenAI models, APIs, Codex and agentic workflows in security work. The person leads discovery with CISOs and practitioners, builds demos, prototypes and proofs of concept, scopes pilots with evaluation and guardrail criteria, and feeds findings back to product, engineering and research. It requires 5+ years of customer-facing technical work, cybersecurity depth in areas such as AppSec, cloud security or incident response, and hands-on Python or JavaScript prototyping. Relocation support is offered.
