OpenAI is hiring an Applied AI Architect on its AI Architect team, working with digital-native and strategic customers. The architect owns the technical strategy for a named portfolio, leading discovery with executives, designing architectures that span models, applications, data, integration, security, privacy, governance, evaluation and deployment, and guiding evaluations, workshops, prototypes and proofs of value into production. The posting asks for customer-facing solutions architecture experience, cloud and API foundations, familiarity with frontier LLMs and agentic applications, and prototyping in Python or JavaScript.
