OpenAI's Applied AI Architecture team is hiring a cybersecurity-focused architect to advise enterprise security teams on using its models, APIs, Codex and agent workflows. The work spans customer discovery with CISOs and practitioners, demos and prototypes, pilot scoping, reference architectures, and safe deployment patterns for app security, vulnerability management, SOC and incident response. It asks for 5+ years in customer-facing technical or security roles, cyber domain depth, Python or JavaScript, and familiarity with retrieval, tool use, evals and guardrails.
