Modal is hiring an analytics engineer for its growing Data team, among its first data hires. The role covers building an analytics stack with Hex and Snowflake, writing data pipelines for cloud compute economics and sales compensation, creating foundational datasets, and adding product analytics for LLM inference endpoints. The posting asks for SQL fluency, Python, and hands-on experience with at least two of Snowflake, dbt, dlt, Modal, Hex or PostHog.
