xAI is hiring a legal AI tutor to label and curate data used in training its models. The work covers regulatory compliance, contract analysis, legal research and dispute resolution, plus collaborating with technical staff on annotation tools and new AI tasks. Applicants need a J.D. or foreign equivalent, at least two years practising law in one of a long list of practice areas, and strong legal writing; bar admission or similar certification is expected. Tutoring can be full-time, part-time or contract, and is remote worldwide, with no visa sponsorship.
