Google's AI and Infrastructure team is hiring a hardware architect in Bengaluru to define architecture specifications for its AI/ML accelerator roadmap. The role covers microarchitecture and power/performance models for compute blocks, evaluating custom designs, vendor co-developments and chiplets, and co-designing hardware/software interfaces with compiler, ML model and research teams. It asks for a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering or computer science and four years in graphics, ML or low-precision numerics architecture, plus HBM and DRAM experience. A master's or PhD is preferred.
