Databricks is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer for its AI FDE team. The role is customer-facing: building and productionising GenAI applications, including RAG, multi-agent systems and Text2SQL, owning production rollouts, advising customers, and feeding product priorities back to engineering. It asks for extensive industry data science experience, hands-on GenAI deployment skills with tools such as HuggingFace, LangChain and DSPy, and production ML work on AWS, Azure or GCP, plus a graduate degree. Travel is roughly every 4–8 weeks. Candidates elsewhere in France may work remotely.
