Fireworks AI seeks an AI Field Engineer for its AI Native segment, working with companies whose core product is generative AI. The role embeds with customer engineering teams: building proofs of concept and production integrations, architecting inference on vLLM and SGLang, running latency and throughput benchmarks, and guiding fine-tuning (SFT, DPO, RFT) and evaluation design. Field findings feed the product roadmap. Requirements include five or more years in a customer-facing technical role, strong Python, Kubernetes, and cloud GPU deployment.
