Waymo seeks a 2027 summer software engineering intern, open to master's and PhD students, for its Multiverse team in San Francisco. The intern will build infrastructure for a simulated driving assessment and scalable simulation data pipelines that gauge the Waymo Driver's driving capability, while improving code health or developer experience. It prefers SQL, Python, distributed systems experience, and comfort with AI-assisted development. The role is hybrid onsite.
