Waymo is hiring 2027 summer software engineering interns at MS/PhD level in Mountain View. The intern will work on safe, predictable autonomous-vehicle behavior: designing onboard C++ logic for traffic-control interactions, validating changes in large-scale simulation, and writing tested production code. The posting asks for enrollment in an MS or PhD program in computer science, robotics, electrical engineering or a related field, plus C++ experience and computer science fundamentals. It prefers safety-critical, real-time, or large-scale data/ML experience. Pay is $70/hour for MS and $85/hour for PhD.
