Waymo's Design group seeks a 2027 summer intern, a quantitative UX researcher for growth and international expansion. The intern designs and launches surveys with potential riders in London and Tokyo on travel behavior, price sensitivity and perceptions of autonomous vehicles, analyzes survey and public datasets for market segments, compares London, Tokyo and US data to inform localization, and reports findings to product, marketing and operations partners. Candidates must be enrolled in a Master's or PhD program in a quantitative field and be proficient in R, Python or SQL.
