Summer 2027 internship on Waymo's Software Engineering, Maneuvering Tech team in San Francisco. Work includes investigating driving-behavior issues from logs, finding trends in large data, implementing perception and driving behavior in depots with many vehicles, and improving on-road evaluation. Enrolled bachelor's or master's students in CS, ML, robotics or similar, with C++ coding experience and collaboration skills; preferred is AV/robotics experience, graph search, optimization or path planning, Python and SQL. Hybrid onsite, paid hourly at $60 (bachelor's) or $70 (master's).
