Amazon's Automated Reasoning group is hiring PhD students for a 12-week, full-time applied science internship, based on-site at one of several US sites. Interns design and implement algorithms for constraint solving, model checking, static analysis, theorem proving and program synthesis, and explore machine-learning and generative-AI methods that support or verify such systems, with the aim of publishing at peer-reviewed venues. Candidates must be enrolled in a PhD, program in Python (plus C++, Haskell or Lean), and show research depth; the posting lists Seattle pay of USD 135,660 annually.
