Mods
Mods is an open-source command-line tool that sends prompts and command output to language models and formats the results.

Mods reads prompts, standard input, or command output, sends them to configured language-model endpoints, and prints responses in formats such as Markdown or JSON. It supports local and hosted OpenAI-compatible endpoints and saves conversations locally.
It is intended for developers and terminal users building command-line workflows and pipelines. The project was sunset and archived on March 9, 2026; much of its functionality is being continued in Crush's non-interactive mode, crush run. Model-provider usage may incur separate provider charges.
