Databricks is hiring a senior AI forward deployed engineer for its customer-facing AI FDE team, working remotely from India. The role builds and productionizes GenAI applications for customers — RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, fine-tuning — and owns production rollouts. It asks for extensive industry data science experience, hands-on work with LangChain, HuggingFace, DSPy, pandas, scikit-learn and PyTorch, production ML deployments on AWS, Azure or GCP, and a quantitative graduate degree. Travel is expected roughly every four to eight weeks.
