Google's Ads Targeting team is hiring a software engineer in Zürich to reinvent Search Ads for AI experiences such as AI Overview and AI Mode. The engineer owns projects end to end, trains, evaluates and deploys models, explores architectures, improves evaluation signals and monitors production performance. The posting asks for five years of C++ and Python development, three years in deep learning, reinforcement learning or generative AI, and three years with ML infrastructure. Work is on-site, with close collaboration with Google Research and DeepMind.
