The role integrates learned driving models with vehicle interfaces, sensors, localization, mapping, and safety systems; defines runtime contracts; and optimizes inference for latency, throughput, memory, determinism, and power. The person builds evaluation tools, analyzes driving data, and runs in-vehicle tests.
