Apple's Proactive Intelligence team is hiring an Applied Research Scientist for agentic systems and generative modeling, based on-site in Cupertino. The role is to use generative models and machine learning to build platform features that anticipate and adapt to user behavior across iPhone, Mac, Apple Watch and iPad. The posting asks for industry experience with sequential decision making, reinforcement learning, autonomous systems, preference learning or LLM training, plus large-scale structured-data processing, probabilistic modeling and statistics.
