NVIDIA's custom RAM design team is hiring an applied AI engineer to build and deploy LLM-based agents that address VLSI design problems. The work covers design, deployment and fine-tuning of agentic systems, RAG pipelines and vector databases, plus infrastructure for engineering assistants, multi-turn, multi-modal dialogue, and dashboards that retrieve design data. It requires a master's or PhD in electrical engineering or computer science, five or more years of industry experience, and Python prototyping skills. The role involves collaboration with distributed circuit, layout, technology and EDA vendor teams.
