Sovereign AI Club's Austin meetup is a Socratic conversation hosted by Bitcoin Park Austin. A host brings recent news and research on local AI, open models and self-hosting; the group examines sources, compares experiences and discusses model releases, security and privacy. The format includes a guided news discussion, then time for member projects and questions. Builders, researchers and curious attendees can share what they have tried, ask questions or listen; no presentation is required.
