An evening hosted by the OpenSearch User Group Milano, an official OpenSearch Project community. Alberto Paro presents 'Claude meets OpenSearch': an agent built with the Anthropic SDK in Python, using the Model Context Protocol as a standard interface to OpenSearch alongside custom REST calls. A live demo runs on a three-node cluster on Kubernetes, and the talk covers reliability measures such as read-only defaults, dry-run and explicit confirmation before changes. A second talk is still to be announced; the programme ends with questions and networking.
