AI Agents Munich hosts a hands-on evening on the resource agent builders keep running out of: the context window. The session covers how context works, when to inject information upfront versus letting an agent fetch it, MCP versus CLI, context compaction for long-running agents, the failure modes grouped as context rot, tool design for token efficiency, retrieval strategies and prompt caching for cost control. Participants build, run and tweak agents that have to solve tasks in a context-efficient way, comparing approaches side by side. Laptops are needed, as is a coding agent such as Claude Code, Codex or opencode; coding by hand is not required and prior agent-building experience helps but is not necessary.
