Coding Bunker replaces its usual talk format for Hacktoberfest 2026 with a hands-on Hack Day in Milan. Participants form teams on the spot, pick a concrete problem and spend the day designing, building and testing a project. Projects use open-source technologies and/or open-weight AI models, and under the official Hack Day rules work must begin during the event itself. Teams submit through OrganizerHQ Challenges, then demo before judging. Official Hacktoberfest prize challenges and swag may be available. No prior AI or open-source experience is required.
