Codex Community Events runs a one-day hackathon in Bahir Dar centred on OpenAI's tools. The day opens with a recap of the OpenAI DevDay event in San Francisco and the updates announced there, after which teams spend several hours building projects with Codex and the OpenAI API. Participants can arrive with an idea, form a team on site, or join other builders. Projects are presented at the end. Checked-in attendees can receive Codex and API credits, and the top three teams can receive a year of ChatGPT Pro for approved members.
