A 60-minute workshop held before the Zürich AI Meetup's main session, at the same venue. João Carvalho from Uthereal argues that two systems can run the same model and behave like radically different agents, and points to the harness — orchestration, state, tooling, guardrails and deterministic scaffolding — as the reason. The session covers state-of-the-art frameworks and examples, the economics of scaffold analysis and model agnosticity, a production demo, and a closing discussion on what should remain deterministic. Time permitting, participants build a minimal harness together. Registration on Luma requires approval.
