The inaugural African AI Film Festival presents an evening of short films, animation and documentary made with AI at their core, selected from international submissions by a pan-African jury. Presented by the African AI Arts & Culture Institute, the programme includes red-carpet arrivals, screenings, audience voting, and awards such as Best of Festival, Best Director, Cultural Resonance and Best Film by an African-Based Filmmaker, then networking. It is aimed at film audiences and filmmakers, and continues in Uganda in December.
