USF's Data Science and Artificial Intelligence Speaker Series hosts Josh Drean for a talk on artificial intelligence and data ethics. Drean, a three-time startup founder, workforce futurist and co-author of Employment is Dead, argues that current students may be better positioned for AI-driven changes to work than they assume. He draws on his forthcoming book After the Jobs Are Gone to discuss adaptability, contribution and portable skills as ways to demonstrate value as employment patterns shift. Drean co-founded Decentrive, a contribution-based work ecosystem.
