A first working session to start a Claude community in Quito, held in central Quito during the week of the GET Forum 2026, which the organizers attended at the invitation of the IDB. Rather than a talk or demo, it is a small table where participants discuss what people building with AI in Ecuador and the region need, how the community should be organized, and which concrete next steps to take, with pitches of Claude projects if anyone brings one. Felipe Pacheco, Claude Community Ambassador in Chile, hosts. Organizers of hubs, accelerators, universities and tech collectives, developers building with Claude, and anyone wanting to co-create the group are invited. Conversation runs in Spanish; English speakers are welcome. Free, registration approved in order of arrival, 50 places.
