The second Open Source Science Dublin meetup, hosted by IBM Research with PyData Ireland as community partner, centres on Generative Computing: writing programs that call models the way they call functions, with the same expectations of structure, testability and governance applied to other software. IBM Research speakers give technical deep dives on Mellea, an open-source Python library for predictable generative programs; the port of the FactReasoner factuality assessor onto it; and the Mellea Skills Compiler, which turns plain-language skill specifications into governed, certified pipelines. Attendance is capped at 150, first come, first served.
