A virtual meetup hosted by the Rome AI, Machine Learning and Computer Vision Meetup group, with three talks from Virginia Tech researchers. Priya Pitre presents a framework for studying communication in multi-agent LLM systems, including work on consensus and sycophancy, plus diagnostic and mechanistic analysis of multi-agent debates. Kazi Mehrab covers a reasoning-guided method for fine-grained visual grounding in lightweight multimodal LLMs. Yusuf Dalva discusses representations in visual generative models and precise control over image and video generation. The talks are research-oriented and run two hours, with registration through Zoom.
