Seattle Computer Vision Meetup, with Nebius and Voxel51, runs an evening that pairs short talks with a hands-on lab. Two speakers cover long-tail failures in production computer vision for fish monitoring, and the Fields of the World project mapping agricultural field boundaries from satellite imagery. The practical session then works through a real DROID robotics recording in FiftyOne: curating frames, computing embeddings for similarity search, generating open-vocabulary labels, and fine-tuning a YOLO11n detector. Attendees bring laptops, and pre-registration is required.
