n8n Community Events runs a half-day builders challenge in Ho Chi Minh City where participants form small teams of two to four, mixing experience levels, and turn an idea into a working automation workflow within a time limit. Teams work with n8n, AI models such as OpenAI, Claude, Gemini or local LLMs, APIs and SaaS tools, and custom code where needed. The morning runs from check-in and team formation through brainstorming, building, then pitching and demos in front of the community and judges. Organizers ask attendees to bring a laptop; no prior n8n or AI automation experience is required, and no team is needed beforehand. Standout solutions receive small gifts, certificates and community recognition.
