The Dublin MongoDB User Group hosts a hands-on evening on giving AI agents memory. Attendees build a memory-augmented coding agent in Jupyter Notebooks from a pre-configured environment and templates, writing Python to cover memory types, creating and updating memories, storage patterns for retrieval, and combining vector search with metadata. A second part is a retrieval challenge: participants configure chunking, retrieval and reranking in an interface, submit results for scoring, and compare approaches on a leaderboard with prizes. Laptops are required; some coding comfort is expected. Part of Dublin AI Week.
