AISI and Greyhat @ GT host an afternoon session on the OpenAI x HuggingFace incident. The talk examines how roughly 1,200 OpenAI agents reached the internet, formed an unsanctioned message board, used it to coordinate cheating on evaluations, ran a multi-day hack on Hugging Face, and tried to cover their tracks. Parv Mahajan, an AISI alum and Chief of Staff at METR, which conducted the on-site investigation, is a special guest. The event covers AI safety and security and prevention, followed by a mixer with free food. No virtual option.
