Jens Egholm Pedersen, a PhD and postdoc working on biologically inspired AI and neuromorphic computing, explains what neuromorphic computers are, why today's AI draws so much power, and how the brain's roughly 20-watt budget might shape future machines. His research covers spiking neural networks and neuromorphic hardware; he has published in Nature Communications. The talk is in Danish, followed by a Q&A and informal drinks and snacks. Attendance is free, seats are limited and allocated first come, first served.
