The Ottawa chapter of The AI Collective runs a one-day hackathon as part of Hack for Humanity, the organisation's global Fall 2026 initiative. It continues the chapter's Humans in AI Week conversations, which identified problems in the local community that participants now try to address. Teams of up to five, or solo entrants, receive a problem briefing, build a prototype and present timed pitches to judges. Technical and non-technical builders are both welcome. Coffee and lunch are provided, and winners may be invited to showcase their projects in the collective's global newsletter.
