A one-day hackathon run by the Campeche chapter of The AI Collective with the Universidad Autónoma del Carmen, following Major League Hacking's Hack Days format and the collective's Hack for Humanity civic initiative. Teams of up to five students form on the day and have under six hours to build a working prototype for a local problem: mobility, environment, health, education or the local economy. AI assistants such as GitHub Copilot are used throughout, and each team, with a faculty adviser and mentors, pitches to a jury.
