An evening during Dublin AI Week run by CHAI Dublin with Give a Go, held at Grant Thornton in the city centre. Short talks and a hands-on workshop cover running models on local hardware: when self-hosting makes sense, choosing and setting up an open-source model, and keeping sensitive data and workloads under local control. Other sessions look at local AI for everyday work, coding and information retrieval, and at connecting agents safely to tools and internal systems.
