The sixth session of a seven-week AI engineering program run by Build & Learn: AI with Coffee in Berlin. This week is hands-on work on what happens after an LLM application is deployed: tracing and debugging LLM calls with Langfuse, versioning prompts, writing unit tests for predictable behaviour, and the concepts behind LLM evaluation. Participants also build evaluation datasets from representative examples, add human annotations and feedback through Langfuse scores, and set up an LLM-as-a-judge evaluator. The series produces one end-to-end application presented at a week-seven demo day; attendees can follow the shared project or apply the concepts to their own. A laptop is needed, and basic programming experience is recommended, though no prior LLM work is required.
