Week five of a seven-week AI engineering program run by the Build & Learn: AI with Coffee group, in which participants assemble an end-to-end AI application and present it on Demo Day in week seven. This session covers moving an app from local development to the cloud using free-tier services only: deployment types, CI/CD concepts, Docker packaging and local testing, deploying on Google Cloud, hosted Postgres with pgvector on Supabase, credentials in Google Secret Manager, Cloud Scheduler jobs and a simpler Streamlit deployment. Attendees bring a laptop and can follow the shared project or apply the concepts to their own. No prior LLM or AI engineering experience is required, though some programming background is recommended. Slides and the meeting link are shared through the group's Discord.
