Creature Commons is a two-day interdisciplinary hackathon on interspecies interaction, Animal-Computer Interaction and Physical AI, with dogs treated as the users. Teams design and build devices, wearables, robots, games and home-automation systems around how dogs perceive, move and play, testing with dogs on the second day. It is hosted by Elseplay and knowshubhangi as part of Claude Fable Build Day, Track 4, with hardware from PCB Cupid. Keynotes, lightning workshops on electronics, sensors, CAD and 3D printing, mentoring, a showcase, and provided hardware and AI tool credits are included. Open to AI researchers, engineers, hardware hackers, designers, ethologists and dog owners; no prior hardware or AI background or team needed.
